Are gratuities included in the price? Gratuities are not included in the price, but greatly appreciated. Our staff works long and hard to make sure you have an enjoyable and memorable authentic Alaskan adventure.

What is the average tip in Alaska? This is a hard question to answer. We want to keep costs low so more people can afford an Alaskan vacation. Restaurants usually pay their employees less than minimum wage because they earn tips. The average tip in a restaurant is 10-20% of the total bill and the staff doesn't spend 25% of their time with you. Our staff is with you 50-100% of the time. Please keep this in mind when deciding.

Uneven surfaces - ground, different surfaces, rocks, sand, thick grass. Short hikes from 1 to 5 miles.
